The Techie Spec Stuff...

General WildFire Information

  • ‘WildFires’ are manufactured in Scotland.

  • When your fire arrives, it will have a coating of oil - this is to protect and 'season' the steel and will burn off when you first light the fire.

  • The colour of mild steel is a mid-grey. This changes over use.

  • Steel will weather over time to a natural rusty finish

  • When putting together, ensure that all panels are slotted together, this is best done on a flat surface,

  • When assembled, ONLY lift by way of the handles - do NOT lift or reposition when hot/burning.

  • For outdoor use only - all parts will become extremely hot when in use.

  • Should not be operated or placed on combustible surfaces when HOT.

  • Handle with care, use protective gloves and tools when hot.

  • Be careful of sharp edges.

  • Recommended to be stored indoors when not in use.

  • The optimum fuel for the ‘WildFire’ is logs.

  • Do not force large pieces of wood into the WildFire as it will jeopardise the integrity of the structure. Let it burn at its own pace, sit back and enjoy...
